Masks for MASKS is our annual fundraising and awareness day which is growing year on year with the amazing support from local businesses, schools and community.
MASKS initially launched Masks for MASKS as a new fundraising initiative in October 2014 which sees many children at Booker Park School and Stocklake Park School coming into school wearing a form of mask to raise money for our charity.
Children spend time in classes creating and decorating masks and often parents help with creating fantastic masks at home. For children who are not comfortable with wearing a mask, they have been encouraged to “mask” a part of themselves instead – wearing a special hat, wig, pair of socks, top or even painting their faces or henna on their hands.
The aim of Masks for MASKS is to increases awareness of our charity and schools within the local community. If you are interested in joining us for Masks for MASKS, or for more information, please get in touch: info@maskscharity.org
